Project Brief: SCI-Arc asked for a project that would address issues of academic participation and democracy through the design of a boardroom in the existing library.

The project proposes a closed circuit camera loop that sends real-time video feeds to the boardroom 24/7. While it is counter-intuitive to assume that surveillance would be preferable to administrative transparency - it is in the student body's ability to construct the SCI-Arc reality through the loop that we believe there is true emancipation - through mediatic slavery.
