Project Brief:The Baldwin Park Music Hall is a companion project to Northview Gymnasium. It is driven by a program-structure coupling, pushed by another standardized constructtion practice, in this case concrete masonry.

The building is acoustically optimized through the construction of CMU hyperbolic paraboloids that array sound apropriately with one of the hardest, least absorptive and most isolating common materials.

In its most extreme condition, the wall tapers over 4' in arrested fall through sequential discreet 1" cantilevers.
